Video of Our Kids!

We've received a video of Yulia and Gena and posted it on our website at www.haworthfamily.net. Also received a couple of new letters!

We are in the throws of getting ready to go to Russia. We leave this Wednesday morning (early!). We'll try to find a computer cafe in Russia and update you on our visit with the kids. Pray for us, that we will connect with them and they with us. We want to bring them home NOW, but we will have to leave them there. It will be hard to leave them!

New Letters!

We've got New Letters!

Go to our website (www.haworthfamily.net) and read the new letters we have received from BOTH Yulia and Gena (January 13)! Just three weeks away from meeting them for the first time, and yet we feel like we already know them! We certainly have fallen in love with them already!

Also, Nathan wrote a letter to his soon-to-be brother and sister (January 14) and Glen wrote a letter to Gena (January 15).

Please keep praying. Gena is having a struggle with the adoption decision. We are praying that God will guide him to the best decision for himself and Yulia.

We are about to send off a form to the BCIS (formerly the INS) to get the ball rolling officially. Pray that everything will be in order. We are also sending off today our applications for Russian visas. IT IS STARTING TO HAPPEN!!!

We're Going!

We bought our tickets today. We're going to Russia!

We are leaving on February 2nd and returning on the 11th. On the weekend of Feb. 5-6 we are going to get to spend TWO DAYS with Yulia and Gena!!! Yea!

Thanks for all your prayers and for the many contributions we have received. Keep 'em coming! The next step is our home study, so we have to complete a lot of paper work and raise a bunch of funds.

A New Letter from Yulia!

Just today we received a new letter from Yulia, the first one addressed directly to us! Alexandra (of IGAA) translated it and emailed it to us!

I'll post it on our web site in a few minutes, so go to www.haworthfamily.net and read it when you can. We just want to go get "our kids" RIGHT NOW and bring them home. Our hearts are aching.

Keep us in your prayers. We are trying to decided when we should make our first trip to Russia. The February trip is in question at the moment, so please help us by praying for God's guidance.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, everyone! We are anticipating that 2005 will be the year we bring our son, Gena, and daughter, Yulia, home from Russia! We can't wait!!

Contributions are coming in! We are blessed by many friends and family members who have contributed toward the adoption already. Over $1000 has come in through our website (www.haworthfamily.net) and another $800+ has come in by check or cash. God is so amazing! We now have enough money to pay for the plane tickets for our trip to Russia to see "our kids" the first week of February! Praise God!

We've got our application to IGAA in and we are starting the mound of paper work for the adoption. Please pray for us, as it is a lot of work and will take a lot of time! We also need to apply for some grant money to support the adoption, so pray for God's favor and blessing.

Moratorium Lifted!

We just received word that the moratorium on new adoptions in Russia has been lifted! Hallelujah! Now we just need to get all of our paper work done, collect the funds and go get our kids!
